WELCOME TO
SAFE AGING COALITION
of NORTHERN KENTUCKY
Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky (SACofNKY)
The Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky is a collaboration of community partners focused on promoting health and wellness among aging and at-risk adults through safety education and awareness programs, activities, and demonstrations. All members of the Coalition are volunteers, donating their time and talent to falls prevention.
The Coalition was officially founded as a non-profit organization in 2016. Since its inception, the Coalition has grown in size and reach and impact on the community. The Coalition is backed by Kentucky’s Safety Prevention Alliance Network KSPAN.
The Coalition focuses efforts on key areas including nightlights and durable medical equipment to help prevent falls in the home, educational programs targeted to seniors at risk of falls and their caregivers, online learning through videos, blog posts, and virtual seminars, and adult health and wellness through our annual Adult Health Clinic.
The Coalition also offers opportunities to volunteer in the community to help keep seniors safely in their homes. We are always looking for volunteer members for the Coalition, and to help in planning the annual gala event. Opportunities to get involved include marketing, fundraising, educational presentations, and direct services.
