The Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky began forming in 2014 when Attorney Parker Clifton brought the idea of helping seniors stay safe to colleague Suzanne Piper-Baird. Attorney Parker had been a past Board Member of a Falls Prevention Program in Butler County, Ohio and felt compelled to start the same type of program in the Northern Kentucky area. Upon doing additional research, as well as accepting an invitation to join the Community Partners Networking Group, the journey of the Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky began.

In 2016, we became an official Non-Profit Agency and through community partner participation, the formal name, logo, and Executive Board were developed. The Safe Aging Coalition (SAC)  is supported and influenced by the Kentucky Safety Prevention Alliance Network (KSPAN). The Safe Aging Coalition of Northern Kentucky continues to grow and broaden its reach by the development and presentation of a variety of educational programs and fund raisers. We consider these events as opportunities to spread the word about this wonderful organization aimed at keeping the senior community safe.
